Well it seems I have not been keeping on my blogging. I haven't posted in a while because lets be honest, sitting on bed rest doesn't actually give me much to talk about. No one wants to hear me whine about sitting on the couch day in and day out or what happened on this weeks Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.(OMG, what do you think of the new spinoff Vanderpump Rules?)

I can not believe that as of this coming Sunday (2/3) we will be 35 wks!!! I am so excited to be in the homestretch of this pregnancy! I am just so thankful to have made it this far. And I am happy to say that this little girl is anything but little. At 33 wks she was already measuring 5lbs6oz! Needless to say we will not be having a small baby. Henley is going to come out thriving with huge cheeks and full lips!

These last 2 weekends I have been spoiled by some amazing ladies! I felt so loved to have not one, but two baby showers!
Auntie IR (Kirsten) threw Henley and I an amazing shower at Babycakes
in Hillcrest! She outdid herself. Not only did she plan the entire
shower, but did all the decorations as well. This girl is giving
Pinterest a run for their money. The food and the company were the
highlight of the day! And as an added bonus Greg surprised me by flying
home early from Vegas to surprise me at the shower. With all of these
girlie hormones flying through me (and the fact that I was still bitter
that my husband got to run off to Vegas for 3 night and I had to sit at
home on the couch "cooking our egg") I started bawling when I saw him. I
think I streaked my makeup with tear marks, but I did not care! Best
surprise ever. ( please excuse the order of the pictures, I am HATING this blogsite right now...ggrrrrrrr)

The 2nd weekend my wonderful Mishella, Tracy and Kim thew me a beautiful shower and all the ladies from work showed up!! Just like Kirsten, these girls outdid themselves as well! Mishella had these amazing Henley T-shirt cookies made as well as french themed yummy cupcakes made! Thank you so much for hosting the shower at your house Tracy!! I felt so loved!! (figured out the blog photo crap, pictures in more of an order)

Now, it wouldn't be me if I didn't complain about something on this blog. I'll keep it short and sweet.
3rd Trimester Reallys?
- Sleep, whats that? So this must be Henley getting me ready for her presence. Because it seems that I will get about 3 or 4 hours of sleep then wake up and not be able to go back to sleep. It has certainly helped that my BFF Jenn Jenn was pregnant with me and is now nursing a newborn at home. I usually have someone to text at 3 am when I am wide awake! If no one is awake then facebook, bejeweled on my phone or tv entertain me for a few hours until I can fall asleep again.
- What goes better with being awake at 3 or 4 am then a late night snack. Cereal with bananas or my new personal love cinnamon rolls. (thanks for that one Jenn Jenn, next pregnancy keep your cravings to yourself) At least I have Wellington at my side helping me bake them.
- What happen to self control? I use to be so good at watching what I eat and eating healthy. But once I entered this trimester all hell broke loose. (As I am writing this I have a 60 oz Spring classic mix bag of Hershey minis right next to me...what should I have next? Kit Kat, rolo, Reese's?)
- Donuts, I can blame Jenn Jenn for that one too
- Chocolate milk
- Bread with everything
- MACARONI AND CHEESE, can not get enough!
- Fries
- Pancakes
- French Toast
- Ass Cramps, really??? So instead of leg cramps I get the joy of waking up to ass cramps? I blame our mattress, Greg disagrees. So now I sleep with 2 extra pillow top mattresses folded over on my side of the bed. It's almost like princess and the pea :) So much for cuddling with my husband. It's hard for him to reach up to me now.
I leave you with this lovely picture. This is how my husband makes me roll around Costco. If I want to go on an outing its either a wheelchair or motorized scooter. At least with the motorized scooter I can go and stop on my own. With the wheelchair, I am at Greg's mercy and sometimes, well he gets sidetracked and I end up rolling on my own or stopped in the middle of a crowd while he wanders off to look at something...................ONLY A FEW MORE WEEKS HENLEY!!!
