10 wks
The Klisser household is about to get bigger! We are PREGGO!!!!! That's right Greg and I will welcome a new addition to the family in March! It has been so hard to keep this a secret from everyone. But knowing how much I worry and what I see at work everyday I wanted to wait until we were almost out of the first trimester. As I am writing this I am 11w2d (written on August 21st), still not completely 2nd trimester but close enough. I can't wait any longer!
We found out 2 days before the 4th of July. This little one decided to surprise us right before our summer Vegas and Europe trip. (Let me just tell you, Vegas, sober = meltdown by end of trip. Lets just say Greg got an earful. whoops. I blame the pregnancy hormones) We are over the moon about this little addition coming!
This has been the most photographed little bean. We have been fortunate to be able to see the development of this little one since week 5! (which I will tell you at week five sometimes there is not something there right away. I freaked out because I was a little over 5wks and no one was home. But not to worry, it was just too early. By week 6 a little bean had sprouted) and NO i did not do these Ultrasounds myself. My Dr did.
So let us be the first to welcome you to "Bean". That is the nickname that has stuck with us for this little munchkin. ( I was too lazy to scan the pictures so you get the "Kent ghetto"version; picture taken from my phone)

Baby looks like an actual baby!!! The little bubble in the corner is the yolk sac, which was providing baby with nutrients until the placenta kicked in.
We are off to Europe for 2 wks! Greg's uncle is turning 60 in France so we are traveling out to be with the family! First stop, London for 2 day!! After London we take the train to Paris for the night. Then off to the Eastern border of France to the town of Metz ( where Greg's family lives) for the weekend. After the weekend we take the train to Amsterdam for a few days then finish off with the weekend in Paris. And SURPRISE Tana and Jeremy are meeting us there!
We will have plenty of pictures and stories to tell when we get back! Thank you for being a part of our lives and sharing in this amazing experience with us!
